YouTube Practice loads cover videos, live versions, and lesson clips inside the app. Paste a link, change speed, set A/B loops, and recall frequently used videos from the library and bookmarks.

Recognizes youtu.be, youtube.com/watch, embed, shorts, live, youtube-nocookie, and 11-character video IDs. Invalid links are handled with guidance.

A local loopback HTTP server serves the player HTML, and a JavaScript bridge exchanges title, duration, current time, and player state.

Speed

From 0.25x to 2.0x

SLOW, RESET, and FAST buttons adjust playback in 0.25x steps by setting the YouTube player playback rate directly.

A/B loop

Loop markers on video

Save A/B markers at the current time or drag them on the timeline. At B, playback seeks back to A or the start and continues.

Library

Save frequent references

Loaded videos are stored with video ID, original URL, title, creation date, and last-used date, sorted by recent use.

Seed tracks

Default videos on first launch

On first launch, five Human Override Project tracks are seeded into the YouTube library. If the user clears the list, they are not seeded again.
